UConn Basketball Promo is a 25-second television spot created for the University of Connecticut women's basketball team. The spot highlights a single game match-up and utilizes a combination of both 2D and 3D animation. The work was created using Cinema 4D, After Effects and footage from the Athletic Department. The piece is inspired by promos that can be seen on ESPN or NBC Sports, and was aimed to convey fast-paced action while also providing game time and date information. Promos can be used as a creative way to spark a sense of excitement and awareness for a network's major event. In this case, MSG Network would use this piece to inform its viewers of the upcoming event and maximize viewership from across the board. UConn's school pride and love for sport is unmatched, and it goes without saying that the UConn Women's Basketball Program is one of the greatest of all time.
