Stranded is the beginning of a series of 3D animated shorts about a crew of robots whose ship has crashed on a desolate world. Attempting to survive in a violent uncaring world, they find that their worst foe is each other. The shorts explore the dynamics of the three characters and how they interact in this new environment. The characters are B4 (the optimistic mediator), CK (the headstrong head), and Az (the know it all eye). There are four shorts in total. The shorts were designed, modeled, textured, and rigged using Maya.

Artist Bio

Nolan Didio was born and raised in Monroe, CT. He is currently a senior in the Digital Media & Design department with a concentration in 3D Animation. He previously studied graphic design in high school. He has a passion for animation and always dreamed about creating his own animations. He has been working towards that goal for a long time and is excited to see the fruits of his labor. Outside of school, he enjoys video games, cartoons, and tabletop role-playing games.
